everyone seems to hope news will turn things around, exposure is nice but it's the wrong time to have a big effect on price, people are scared to enter after these latest events. i entered in april sat on the sidelines for a while after watching it crash....

China looks for the 8th time like it might break the trend, but the latest move is on no volume.

I for one love the stability. We can hang out here for a couple of weeks and id be ecstatic.
just calm before storm. i dont see sideways for weeks at a time after that runup and drop

Whales making walls, whales breaking walls. I'm out of words!

You think these are whales??  Cheesy
Remember, remember, the 25th of.. June. >BTC90,000 traded in <4 hours.

Price was much lower then, so raw coin value will maybe never be this high again.

Still, we're seeing 10k coin volume on a good day right now, but in early '14 we saw 70k on the highest volume day. I'd like to  see that kind of volume again eventually.

Stamp?
More exchanges and people buy off-exchange now. So what's a new healthy volume?

people keep saying this, but how do you know? besides say, secondmarket, isn't it all anecdotal? why is everyone so sure that so much is being bought/sold off the exchanges? i am just not sure i believe it.

i think that we will have another push up above 600....maybe to 610 or 620, then maybe have a slide down to the 510-530 area before the next massive wave of buying happens. well, thats what i am hoping for anyway!

Looks like we are prepping for another leg up here. 630s incoming? Grin

Pretty crucial breakout on volume on Huobi earlier. I think this down move is over.

Meh, this dumping is just like the dumping at 440. No follow-through. Sellers are exhausted here. 590 is the new 440.

Feels like we're just gonna slowly grind sideways/down until it breaks down hard. Someone post a bullish chart to get me out of this depression! Cry

Looks like the big wall around 575 was removed.

About 1000 lots were removed.

It was moved to $560 the other day and is still there.

A few hours ago, there was 3100 BTC in bids to $570. Now there is 2100. Just sayin.

So..... test of 550-560 incoming? Then maybe we go up? Just kinda hoping I don't have to sit through months of bear market. Undecided

Thing is the big walls (1000-2000) lately have been all real, not pulled. They've been sold through, which shows sell pressure, but the question is whether the buyers are fake (selling to self), and whether they will in turn sell at a loss vs. accumulating. If the latter, seller exhaustion comes sooner than you think.

I doubt the big walls we've seen sold through on Huobi are selling to themselves -- they spent way too much time at spread being nibbled on, and were never taken out in single orders.

580$ is the new launch pad, no one seems to be willing to sell below anymore! Walls will be removed and/or get demolished soon! Ready to lift off!

800$ INCOMING !!!!!!

Are you just trolling us? Or has fonzie really turned bullish? Smiley

I'm targeting $750-800 level, so that sounds good to me....

So.... I sold a few dollars above this level. And I'm getting kinda nervous. How many people like me do you think there are, waiting to get back in? Cheesy

Another day goes by and the accumulation rolls on.

We daily think that accumulation going on, but we can't say surely because it's too long now.
We are stuck between 540 to 660, and this very big range.

I'd say the range is more like 540 to 620. Breaking the 620 level will be significant. I'm pretty sure someone is accumulating -- that Huobi bid whale. Not sure what everyone else is doing.. Smiley

People accumulating are thanking their respective deities on their bare knees Bitcoin isn't rallying yet.

(Raises hand)

Though I'm in far enough now that I'm happy whichever direction this wants to go. In it for the long haul, anyhow.... Smiley

It is NOT very uncommon to see the dollar equivalent of that kind of wall, which would represent a wall of about 3,200BTC in today's dollars.

When was the last time you saw a 3,200BTC wall? I recall that 10,000 wall that pushed down and eventually market sold half in the 500s on Stamp ~ February.

There's these Huobo walls I guess. But I dunno if I would call it common.

NOT a great position to be in.... I sleep much better in BTC... ... but you may get lucky... maybe we will hit $563-ish within the week?  I would be nervous too... I am nervous whenever i sell BTC.. and that is why I do NOT sell too much.. maybe I wont be selling until $800-ish... or I may wait until $3k-ish

I've bought back 30% at $578.xx so I have a bit of cushion. Price alarms on. Grin
