Does anybody know if the May 5th. value is accurate? It's showing up as 0.
As far as I can tell, the latest one is always 0.

Ah okay. That makes sense then. Was wondering why the searches suddenly dropped down to 0 on Google Trends...

But on that chart you can pretty clearly see that China didn't have that big of an impact. Otherwise you would see it in the searches I presume? Although I'm not sure wether Google in blocked/censored in China.
It is a common mistake to assume Chinese people use Google as the default search engine, it might be true in the rest of the world, but not in China, they have their search engine called Baidu which accounts for over 80% of total search queries in the country. I have said it many times already on this forum, people keep bringing this up. Even when they use Google, they don't put English words inside the query, try 比特币 and see the result.

What.  Out of all possibilities a few hours ago, this one seemed the most unlikely.

Tell me about it.  I sold at 98.99 with a buy order at 97.89.  Looks like I will be taking a loss on that position.

Mate, I do small margins trade often but it's nowhere near the quantities you are trading with. With all due respect, I don't think you are doing it on good way and it looks to me you're set to lose lot of money at some time. It's just not right thing to trade 100 coins at 1% margin, you're going to get burned soon or later.

It's as friendly advice as it could be.
And with the commission fee of 1%, he hardly can make any profit...

Bitcoin is back up to 110+ again, and has anyone else noticed that after a Mt. Gox blackout, that it almost always starts heading in the upward direction, rather than falling down like expected?

Ya, kinda odd. How things have changed Smiley

Maybe their server is still trying to process the orders that were entered into it before it went down
Don't think so, my order made after it went back up was filled already.

http://gigaom.com/2013/05/14/google-ventures-invests-in-opencoin-the-firm-behind-bitcoin-exchange-ripple/

Is this a good news or bad news to Bitcoin?
Google Ventures has decided to invest in Ripple.
It is a good news because Ripple facilitates conversion between bitcoins and traditional currencies, which should aid mass adoption of Bitcoins.
Bad news because many people believe Ripple is Bitcoin 2.0 and threatens the existence of Bitcoin.
